About Me

I am a sessional instructor at VCC in the department of Nursing. I mostly teach in the clinical setting and recently obtained my Clinical Instructor Certification through the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN)

I am working on my Provincial Instructor Diploma (PIDP) through VCC College and I am currently in the PIDP3240 Media Enhanced Learning course.

I completed my Bachelors in the Science of Nursing (BScN) through University of Victoria (U-Vic BScN) in 2003 and went on to obtain my Masters degree in the science of Nursing (MScN) through the University of British Columbia (UBC MScN) completed in 2011. The foci of my MScN was Education and Research. I completed my thesis on “The Functions of Pregnancy in the Lives of British Columbia Street Involved Young Women in 2000” available at The Functions of Pregnancy In the Lives of British Columbia Street Involved Young Women in 2000
